Networks ids

We have separated the network IDs into two categories: those from device information and those from the user. For each category, you can add your own identifier to the platform or subscribe to an already existing identifier.

First ID integration

Identifiers from First-ID can be natively captured by our user-event-tag when the user browses client websites.

First you need to enable it on the organisation and datamart :

  1. Go to Navigator > Settings > Organisation > Device Registries

  2. In the "Shared device registries" section, click on Manage subscriptions

  3. Subscribe to First ID

At this stage, First ID registry is made available on the organization and datamart and can be ingested through files and APIs.

Note: if you have multiple datamarts in your organisation, you can enable First ID only on some of them by selecting "Edit linked datamarts" on the registry in the table.

Then you can activate the automated capture on each site.

To complete this step, you must first make sure that you have completed the integration with First ID on each website.

  1. Go to Navigator > Settings > Datamart > Channels

  2. Edit the site on which to activate the automated capture

  3. Go to the JS tag configuration section > Device identification section and enable First-ID

  4. Repeat this process for each site on which you want to capture

At this stage, the user event tag automatically captures identifiers from First ID.

ID5 integration

First, you need to enable it on the organisation and datamart :

  1. Go to Navigator > Settings > Organisation > Device Registries

  2. In the Shared device registries section, click on Manage subscriptions

  3. Subscribe to ID5

Then ID5 registry is made available on the organization and datamart and can be ingested through files and APIs.

However, ID5 requires a specific technical configuration to be properly captured on your website channel. Please contact your Account Manager to complete the ID5 configuration for your channel. This will include adding an activity analyzer to handle ID5 IDs.

Custom network user id integration

User accounts identify a user registered on your different systems, like your CRM, a loyalty program or any authentication system

First, you must create your network user id within your organization :

  1. Navigate to Navigator > Settings > Organisation > Compartments

  2. In the First-party user account compartments section, click on New Compartment

  3. Define the name and the token of your new compartment

Then you can activate the new network user id on your datamarts:

  1. Navigate to Navigator > Settings > Datamart > Compartments

  2. In the First-party user account compartments enabled on this datamart section, click on Enable Compartment

  3. Select our new compartment

If your network user ID is created in your community, you can activate it across your other organizations. To do this, click on Enable Compartment in the Shared User Account Compartments Enabled section of this datamart.

UTIQ integration

First, you must subscribe to UTIQ within your organization :

  1. Navigate to Navigator > Settings > Organisation > Compartments

  2. In the Shared user account compartments section, click on Manage subscriptions

  3. Subscribe to UTIQ

Then, you need to activate the identifier on your datamart :

  1. Navigate to Navigator > Settings > Datamart > Compartments

  2. In the Shared user account compartments enabled on this datamart section, click on Enable compartment

  3. Activate to UTIQ

UTIQ requires a third step to complete the setup. You need to modify your channel configuration to capture identified users. To do this, navigate to Navigator > Settings > Datamart > Channels. Select a website channel:

  1. Click the menu button and then select Edit.

  2. In the JS tag configuration section, activate the toggle for Utiq martechpass.

This will automatically adjust the user event tag to capture UTIQ martechpass IDs.
